From the Pastor: September 15, 2009

In Mark’s fourth chapter, we first encounter about the disciples in a boat, and a sudden storm. In fear they cry out to a sleeping Jesus. Jesus rouses from His nap in the stern, calms the storm, and questioned their fear. After all, wasn’t He right there with them?

Boo-Hoo Back to School Party

UPDATE 8/29/2009:
what a blessing this day was. We gave out 70 school supply bags (this was in addition to the backpacks!!!). We need to thank Mary Linda Morgan for allowing us to use Beryl Elrod’s memorial money to fill these bags for our neighborhood kids………it was AWESOME!!!!!!!

Thank you to all who came to work and greet our community. We doubled our numbers on this event over last year……next year, I just can’t wait to see what God has in store for us!!!!!!

Church Directory Update

Our Church Directory has finally been published! A big THANK YOU to the many people who contributed toward making this happen!

Photography for the beautiful cover and activity pages was done by Eric Gambill. Jodie Gambill used her computer expertise and talent for getting these pages ready to print. Vickie Brewington took care of our roster.
